ADULT SIZE: 12 cm

WATER CONDITIONS: Moderately soft and acidic

TEMPERATURE RANGE: 23-27 C

FOOD: Feed Myleus rubripinnis anything, a true omnivore

DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from Guyana

AQUARIUM CARE: This species prefers a planted aquarium with open areas for swimming. They are a shoaling fish, and should be kept as such. These attractive silver dollars are true omnivores and will eat some plant matter fom the aquarium as well as dried and live foods

BREEDING: Rarely (if ever) achieved in the aquarium
