WATER CONDITIONS: Not critical

TEMPERATURE RANGE: 22-27 C

FOOD: Feed Jordanella floridae a predominantly vegetarian diet

DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from USA

AQUARIUM CARE: The American flagfish is an algae grazer primarily, but will take most foods. It hails from Florida, and the Gulf coast in general, and is widespread in the aquarium hobby. This is one of the few killifish regularly seen in the shops.

BREEDING: Breeding is probably best using the long term set up which allows the young to grow up with the parents in a well planted tank.
